Blaine County Highlighted Properties

This map displays the areas within Blaine County that are being considered by Planning and Zoning for subdivision or planned unit development, or properties that have been recently approved, and/or are privately held lands that are not presently proposed for development but stand to be developed in the future. For an explanation of the subdivision application process, click here. This map is evolving. Citizens for Smart Growth is currently in the process of completing a thorough update of the map and corresponding text. In the meantime, we have made periodic updates to the existing map to keep it as accurate as possible.

This map allows the viewer to interact with the changes that are and will be occurring throughout the entire county. Although some of these development projects may not affect each one of us directly, they have the potential to significantly impact many of the resources that every resident of Blaine County relies upon. Keeping an attentive eye on the potentially developed areas of our entire region strengthens our understanding of our future as a county. Familiarity with the subdivision/PUD application process empowers attentive or concerned citizens with the knowledge of when and where they can express their own ideas or opinions.

Once an application has been submitted at Blaine County Planning and Zoning, or any of the five city Planning and Zoning Departments, all submitted information exists as public record. For more information regarding any of the sites, please visit or contact the appropriate jurisdiction's website.
